Mrs. Yvonne Marie (Oestringer) Bosarge, 60 of Bay St. Louis, passed away Thursday afternoon at Woodland Village in Diamondhead. She was born October 31, 1959 in Napoleonville, LA, one of three children to Paul & Elvina (Ohmer) Oestringer. Yvonne grew up in the Metarie area of South LA, and obtained her nursing assistant certification, working in healthcare for a while. Later, she became a dispatcher for the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, working there for many years. In 2004 she moved to Bay St Louis and lived there since. She loved riding, whether down the beach or out on any country roads. And of course while out, you had to stop and have a bite to eat. Yvonne also loved her chihuahuas, caring for them as her "fur babies". A loving sister, wife, and mother, she will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by those who knew and loved her. She was preceded by her parents, Paul & Elvina Oestringer, and her brother Paul Jr. Left to cherish her memories are: her loving husband of 20 years, Dudley Bosarge; her two sons, Adam (Heather) Rice of Powder Springs, GA and Eric (Alicia) Sacks of Severn, MD, along with their father, Ralph Sacks; her granddaughter Addison Rice, and three grandsons, Kota, Cade, and Eli Sacks; her sister Sylvia (Ronnie) Gaudet; and a cherished, life-long friend, Lindsey Ladouceur of Abita Springs, along with numerous extended family, friends and neighbors through the years. A Celebration of Life has been set for February 29, 2020, 2:00 PM at Waveland United Methodist Church, where her and Dudley attended and served. All who knew her are encouraged to attend. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Bosarge family in their time of need, and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
