Willie Lawrence Necaise, Jr. 80 of the Kiln, joined his loving wife of 60 years from their home Wednesday morning, March 15th, 2023, just 36 hours after her departure. He was born January 20,1943, one of twelve children to Willie Lawrence, Sr. and Lucille (Dubuisson) Necaise. Willie, or Jr. as some knew him, has been a long time and well-known resident of the Dedeaux community. He was a skilled carpenter and owned his own construction company for many years. He was a loving husband, father, "Papa", brother, and friend, and was well regarded as "The Legend." Willie and Bertie were inseparable in life and are now happily reunited in eternity. They will be forever missed by all who knew and loved them. Willie was preceded by: his parents, Willie L. Necaise, Sr. and Lucille Necaise Waitschies; his wife and soul mate of 60 years, Bertie Faye (Cameron) Necaise; his brother Kevin Necaise, and his sister, Betty Mae Ladner. Left to cherish his memories are: his children, Rhonda Gayle Harmon Ladner (Keith), Tangela Perez (Mark), and Lynnie Necaise; his siblings: sisters Patsy Ladner and Mary Ann McDonald, and brothers, Eddie Necaise (Charlotte), Larry Necaise (Theresa), Robert Necaise, Carl Necaise, Ralph Necaise, Eugene Necaise (Bonnie), and Patrick Necaise (Elizabeth). Papa leaves a legacy of seven grandchildren: Bryttni Mitchell (Lance), Brynae Necaise (Keith), Colton Harmon (Devan), Meghan Peterson (Josh), Cameron Seal (Danielle), Emily Smith, and Mason Necaise, with eighteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. With their passings so close together, Willie and Bertie's services will also be together, just as they would want. Services are set for Thursday, March 16th at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral mass at 1:00 PM, with Fr. Emmanuel Subaar officiating. Afterward, they will be laid to rest together in the Standard Sandhill Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Necaise family in their time of need and asks everyone to remember them through this very trying time.
