Wanda May Holloway (Evans) Obituary

Wanda May (Evans) Holloway, 53, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2023, in Wiggins, MS. Born on June 8, 1970, in West Virginia. She was the heart and soul of every family gathering, often found in the kitchen, cooking up a storm. Her culinary creations were not just meals, but expressions of her love and care. She had a knack for making everyone feel special and cherished, and her home was always filled with warmth and laughter. She was also known for her infectious sense of humor. Wanda was the biggest jokester, always ready with a witty remark or a funny story. She loved to laugh and found joy in the simplest things. Her love for TikTok videos was well-known among her family and friends, and she often shared her favorites, spreading smiles and laughter wherever she went. An avid outdoorswoman, she enjoyed hunting and fishing. Above all, Wanda was a loving grandmother. She adored her grandchildren "to the moon and back," as she often said. Her love for them was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Wanda lived for her family, as they meant the world to her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in their hearts. Left to cherish her memories is her loving husband of 27 years, Michael Holloway Jr.; daughters, Shylina (Clay) of Mchenry, Samantha of Wiggins, Sabrina (Quinton) of Perk, step daughter, Patricia (Jon) of Wiggins; seven grandchildren, Eli, Ethan, Serenity, Evan, Logan, Scarlett, and Faith; two brothers, Pete (Sandy) Slone and Richard Jarvis; three sisters, Addye (Chip), Tammy (Leonard), and Sheila (David); along with numerous nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Wanda is preceded by her parents, Cull and Emma Lou Evans; biological mother, Jaqueline Crabtree; stepfather, Hart Jarvis Jr.; son, William Evans; one grandson, Alijah Ramon; brother Jr. Slone; sister, Gloria (Slone) Anderson; father-in-law, Michael Holloway, Sr.; and brother-in-law, John Anderson.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Holloway family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
