Todd Marquar Obituary

Todd Joseph Marquar, 55, passed away on November 15, 2023 in Lakeshore, MS. Born on March 29, 1968 to the late Donald Michael Marquar, Jr. and Beverly Faye Necaise. A loving son, father, brother, and grandfather, Todd's life was filled with passion and joy. He spent his life in Lakeshore, Mississippi, where he cultivated a deep love for the outdoors. He rode horses, was an avid fisherman and hunter; he found joy in shrimping. Todd was a passionate cook, often preparing meals with whatever he had caught during his hunting and fishing adventures. He was a dedicated fan of the New Orleans Saints, and despite his occasional threats to abandon the team after a disappointing game, he was always back in front of the television the following Sunday, cheering them on.  Known to his grandbabies as "Pawpaw Todd," and quite possibly a "Legend" to everyone else, he  was a family man through and through. To put it simply, Todd lived life on his own terms and created a world that was uniquely his. He was as stubborn as a mule but as lovable as a teddy bear. Todd was the life of the party at family gatherings and was known for stirring up mischief at his favorite hangout, Kent & Sue's, with his special friends.  His zest for life was infectious and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Left to cherish memories are his mother, Beverly Faye Necaise and step-father Kelly Necaise; children, Todd Michael, Lashae Marie, Taylor Joseph, Lashanda Madison, and Ty John-Dalton Marquar; siblings, Trent (Penny) Necaise and Misty (Skip) Elsworth; five grandchildren, Adalyn Nicole Doyle, A'Kyriah Marie Marquar, Paisley Ann Marquar, Presleigh Lee-Ann Marquar, and Asher Heath Davis; two very special and loving aunts, Barbara Cuevas and Belinda Bradford; and his numerous cousins, family, and friends. Todd was preceded in death by his father, Donald Michael Marquar, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Lois Asher Marquar and Donald Michael Marquar, Sr., as well as his maternal grandparents, Oris and June Valerie Ladner, Sr.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Marquar family in their time of need and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers in the days ahead.
