Mrs. Tina Marie Barton Parker of Perkinston, surrounded by loved ones, went peacefully home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Perkinston. Tina was born on February 11, 1960 in Biloxi, MS to the late James George Barton and Jackie Ann Dixon Barton. She was preceded in death by her father and mother. Tina was a God-fearing woman who dearly loved her husband, children, and grandchildren. She loved gardening, flowers, reality TV shows, ancestry, jewelry, Loretta Lynn, and Pasty Cline. Her favorite color was purple, and her favorite place to visit was Tennessee. She loved the mountains and going to the streams to search for river rocks. She was strong-willed and determined to accomplish anything she set her mind to, and she will always be remembered as a mom who put her children first. Tina’s memory will forever be cherished by her husband Kenneth (Pete) Parker of Perkinston; her children, Dayna (Charlie) Reyer of Perkinston, Brandi Parker of Ocean Springs, and Kenneth (Faa) Parker of Ocean Springs; her grandchildren, Dylan, Caylee, Dawson, and Conner; her brothers, James (Julie) Barton of Vancleave and Kenny (Angie) Barton of Vancleave; her special cousin Joann Bernard, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Masks will be required at the service. A Visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Thursday, February 25th at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Pastor Charlie Reyer will be officiating the funeral service at 1 pm with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Wiggins.
