Timothy Emanuel Threadgill, 66 of McHenry, passed away August 16, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. Tim was born April 3, 1957 in Gulfport, one of six and the first of four children to George, Sr. and Ruby L. (Lassabe) Threadgill. He grew up in Long Beach where he was a good 'ol South MS country boy. Tim enjoyed being outside, fishing, hunting, working on cars and building houses with his dad. Tim followed in his dad's footsteps and became a master carpenter. He attended school in Long beach, opting to go to work before graduating. Tim worked on pipelines in Alaska for a while before returning home to work in the family business building houses. He later went to work for MGM as a carpenter at the Beau Rivage where he spent almost twenty years. Tim is fondly remembered as a devoted family man, one that was always willing to lend a hand in any way. In his spare time, he collected beer steins, built model cars and trucks, but he also enjoyed building actual hot rods too. Tim would build them but never drove them, rather allowing his friends to race and wreck them. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers, and spending time with his family that he loved so much. Tim will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all whose life he touched. He was preceded by his father, George Threadgill, Sr., and two of his brothers, Steven and Joey Threadgill. Left to cherish his memories are: his children, daughter Autumn (Terry) Stegall of Reno, NV, and his son Aaron Brown of Gulfport; his loving mother Ruby Threadgill, also of Gulfport; and his siblings: brothers Ricky (Julie) Threadgill of McHenry and George "Buddy" (Rosemary) Threadgill, Jr. of Saucier, with his sister Diane Dye, also of McHenry. He leaves a legacy of five grandchildren: Matthew, Michelle, and Emily Brown, and Ayla and Aria Stegall, along with numerous extended family, friends, and coworkers through the years. Services will be held Saturday, August 19th at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a chapel service at 3:00, with Bro. Tommy Jones officiating. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Threadgill family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
