Timothy Howell Stuart, I, 69, passed away September 3, 2023 at his home in Purvis, leaving behind a legacy of joy and love. He was born in Hattiesburg on July 20, 1954 to the late Lee Davis Stuart Sr. and Annie Pearl Stuart. Tim was a man with a smile that could brighten the darkest days, a heart full of laughter, and an infectious sense of humor. He was the life of the party, the center of attention, and always ready with a joke that could make anyone laugh. He had a deep passion for hunting and fishing, cherished his family, and absolutely adored his sons, whom he supported wholeheartedly. An avid musician, Tim played at Pizza Inn in Wiggins, where he showcased his musical talent every Thursday night. He strummed his guitar, sang at numerous events, and shared his love for music with all. Also, his generosity knew no bounds, always putting others first. He was a friend that everyone wished to have, with more friends than he could count. Tim worked hard but always made time for his family and the Lord. For 48 years, Tim was a devoted member of Central Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, where his faith was unwavering. He cherished his church community and the fellowship it provided. Tim was definitely a man who embraced life with open arms. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit lives on in the memories, laughter, and love he shared. Welcoming Tim into Heaven are his loving parents, Lee Davis Stuart, I and Annie Pearl Stuart; his son James Clifton Stuart; brothers, Lee Davis Stuart, II and Bobby Joe Stuart; and one great-grandson, Cannon Chance Stuart. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife Debbie; their sons: Timothy (Sheila) Stuart II, Aaron (Sheryl) Stuart, Gary (Erika) Stuart, Jeffery (Amber) Stuart; his brothers, William (Jolyn) Stuart, Dennis Stuart, and Michael (Carolyn) Stuart; sisters Regina Stuart and Lisa Stuart; sister-in-law, Sandra Stuart; and his best friend, Roger Dale (Norma) Hennis. Tim leaves a legacy of twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Central Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, with visitation from 5 until 9 PM Wednesday evening, Sept. 6th, and at 10:00 AM Thursday morning. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM, and afterward Tim will be laid to rest in the Chambliss Family Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Stuart family and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times.
