Steven Lee Thamert

Steven Lee Thamert, 55 of Wiggins, passed away in his sleep May 28, 2020. Steven was a man of few words, but showed his love with his actions. He was born April 3, 1965 in Sumnter, South Carolina. He married the love of his life, Eugenia LaLani "Lani" Thamert on his birthday in 2015. Steven was a hard working family man that loved his pets, children, grandchildren and spending time with his wife. Boy did he love his wife! She was his world and he was hers as well. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all whose life he touched. Steven was preceded by his mother Frances Green and his father, James Warren Thamert. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife of 5 years, Lani Thamert; children: Stephanie Lynn (Kenneth) Dennis and Kristoffer Lee (Wesley) Thamert; daughter-in-law Jessica Elaine Malone and adoptive son, Christian Brewster; step-kids Dustin Gregory (Ashley) Page, Kelli Leanne (Casey) Simpson and Diane Elaine Freemyer; grandchildren Karlie Loper, Emma Donbrowsky, Calianna Simpson, Damian Thamert and Kamrie Simpson; his brother Ronald (Cynthia) Thamert, sisters Sharon (Danny) Martinez and Sandra (Billy) Green with his nephew Branden, along with many extended family, friends and co-workers. Steven touched many lives, bringing joy to many people. He will be truly missed.
