Shirley "Lyle" White

Shirley Lyle White, 89, of McHenry, MS, sadly passed away on December 22, 2023, at Covington County Hospital in Collins, MS. Lyle was born April 14, 1934, to the late Kenneth Russell and Linnie Myrl (Lilly) White, in Spanishburg, West Virginia. Lyle spent over twenty years in the United States Airforce where he proudly served before retiring. He will be remembered as a man who touched many hearts and will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved him. Lyle is preceded in death by his father Kenneth Russell White and his mother Linnie (Lilly) White. Left to cherish his memory, one son, Rocklan L. (Rebecca) White; one daughter, Lita (Tami) Lubitsh-White; three grandchildren, Joshua L. (Abbie) White, Mitchell (Victoria) White, and Brandy C. (Ralo) White; two great-grandchildren, Anastasia White and Emily Fletcher; the Spencer family with whom he shared with the late Margie White; and the Berry family with whom he shared with the late Irene Berry. Lyle's wishes were to be cremated and taken back to West Virginia, which his family will be honoring.  The family has asked that if you wish to provide plants or condolences send them directly to Rocky or Lita.
