Shelly Marie Stiver, age 46, of Montegut, LA, formerly of Gulfport, MS passed away on December 22, 2020 at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center in Houma, LA. She was born February 5, 1974 in Gulfport, MS to Farrell and Jackie Stiver. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Joe Page, Sr. and Opal Page; her paternal grandparents, Farrell Stiver, Sr. and Doris Stiver. Shelly leaves behind her loving companion, Tanya Pitre of Montegut, LA; her only sibling, Patrick M. Stiver; her nephew, Senior Airman Chayse M. Stiver; her parents, Farrell (Butch) Stiver and Jackie M. Stiver of Gulfport along with extended family and friends from all walks of life. Shelly was a native of Gulfport and a high school graduate of Harrison Central High School in 1992. Shelly furthered her education as a graduate of MGCCC-Jefferson Davis Campus, obtaining her license as a Paramedic serving the MS Gulf Coast and Southern Louisiana for many years. She enjoyed helping people in their time of need and goes on to do that in the after life by being an organ and tissue donor where she will live on in those who received her precious gifts. Shelly enjoyed family, friends, sports (New Orleans Saints and LSU) and her fur babies, Scottie, and Sophie. Burial will be at the Three Rivers Free Church of God Cemetery at Three Rivers Rd. and O’Neal Rd. in Gulfport on Tuesday, December 29 at 1 pm. Service will be officiated by her cousin, Danny Calhoun. The family asks that dress is casual, and Saints themed. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the family during this difficult time.
