Shawn Paul Mahler

Shawn Paul Mahler left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 13, 2024. He was a native of Marrero, Louisiana and a resident of Ramsey Springs, Mississippi. Shawn was a welder/fitter for Larry J. Mahler Welding, Stewart and Stevenson Services, Liberty Welding, and Palmer Tools. An avid sports fan, he loved his LSU Tigers and baseball. He enjoyed spending time outdoors; fishing, hunting, and sitting by the water on "lake Moby." Among many talents he was also a great cook. A man of christian faith, he loved Jesus with all his heart and soul. His favorite Bible verse that he messaged his beloved sister everyday - Psalms 118:24 “This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it”. Shawn was survived by his mother, Glenda Jo Agent Mahler; sister, Beth Mahler Aymami (David); brothers, Jason Joseph Mahler (Connie) and Chanc Wayne Joseph Mahler; godson, Jared Michael Treadaway (Ashlynn); along with numerous nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Chip. He was the son of the late Larry Joseph Mahler.  A going home celebration to honor Shawn’s life will be held in the near future at the place he loved the most “Lake Moby” - 914A Highway 15, Perkinston, Mississippi. 39573. Trinity funeral Services is honored to serve the Mahler family and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers for the days ahead.
