Sandra Jean Eisnaugle, 82 and formerly of Ohio, passed away October 27, 2023 at Azalea Gardens Nursing Center in Wiggins. She was born Christmas Day 1940 in Ashville, OH, the youngest of two children to Rancy and Betty (Merchant) Petty. Sandra grew up in and around the Columbus area, graduating from Central High School in the late '50s. She took some college courses and did lots of office and clerical work in her career. Though she never served in the military, she was well-known as a general by her children and family, taking command of any situation she may have been in. Sandra enjoyed travelling, watching tv, visiting the casinos, and just enjoying life. For the past several active years, she and her late husband John lived in their motor home, seeing as much of the country as they wanted. Sandra had spent the past few years of her life at Azalea Gardens Nursing Center in Wiggins, where she did her best to be in command too. For all that she was, she will be forever missed by all whose life she touched. Sandra was preceded by her parents, Rancy and Betty Petty, her late husband, John Eisnaugle, and her first husband, Bob Stephens. Left to cherish her memories are: her children, Brian Brant, Terri Evans, and Richard Brant; her sister, Joy (Larry) Meeks, with her former husband and father of her children, David Brant. Sandra leaves a legacy of five grandchildren, ten great-grands, with countless numbers of extended family and friends made through the years. Sandra'a final wishes were to be cremated and returned to Ohio for interment, which her family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Brant / Eisnaugle family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through this trying time.
