Sandra Carol (Thomas) Dewease

In memory of a life so beautifully lived, a heart so deeply loved, the family of Sandra Carol Dewease, 74 of Brooklyn, announce her passing on July 14, 2020 at Asbury Hospice in Hattiesburg. She was born in Poplarville, August 15, 1945 to Darnell Guice Thomas and Johnie B (Ladner) Thomas. Sandra is preceded in death by her father and her brother, Robert Dubose. She is survived by her wonderful best friend and husband of 33 years, Elbert Dewease; daughters and sons in law, Diane and Mark Perkins and Betsy and Stanley Lasiter; son, Nick Hatten-Parker; mother, Johnie B Dubose; sisters and brother in law, Bobbie Molsebee and Melanie and Michael Thomas-Lott; brother and sister in law, David and Glenda Dubose; grandchildren, Braxton, Whitney, Jonathan and Elizabeth; great grandchild, Carson along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sandra posed a beautiful soul. She had a way of making you feel complete. She enjoyed gardening, bargain hunting at flea markets and swimming in her pool but above all spending time with her family. While she loved being a mom nothing compared to being a grandma. Sandra spent the better part of her life working as a beautician. Rest assured all secrets were taken with her! She had an outgoing personality that will be truly missed beyond measure.
