Ruby Mae Michaels, 67, passed away in Gulfport December 21, 2021. Ruby was born in Laurel, Mississippi to the late Edison Eugene and Birdie Mae Rayner. Ruby grew up the oldest of three, with her twin sisters Bonnie Sue and Bonnie Jean. She was a loving sister, mother, Maw Maw, and great cook. In her spare time, Ruby enjoyed shooting pool with her friends. A caring, compassionate lady, she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all whose life she touched. Ruby is preceded by her loving parents, Edison Eugene and Birdie Mae Rayner; twin sisters, Bonnie Sue Duncan and Bonnie Jean Flick. Ruby is also preceded by her best friend Brenda Kay Austin. Ruby will be cherished by her children; Renee Westmoreland, Jennifer (Gerald) Ladner, and Tommy "Turkey" (Brandi) Michaels Jr.; grandchildren, Timothy "Hot Rod" Riley II, Chelsia Riley, Caitlyne Michaels, Braiden Michaels, Hayden Michaels, Hadley Michaels, Dana Ladner, Gerald "Bubbie" Ladner Jr., and Jarred "JJ" Ladner; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Dakota, Beverley, Aiden, Emma Mae, Bailey, and Landen. Ruby is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be Monday December 27, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Services. Funeral services will be Tuesday December 28, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. with a one hour visitation prior at Trinity Funeral Services. Interment will follow at Free Church of God Cemetery in Gulfport. Trinity Funeral Services are entrusted with the arrangements.
