Roy Chester "Bo" Maddox III passed away peacefully on November 5, 2023, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Born on December 16, 1967, in Mississippi and raised in Lumberton, he was a lifetime member of Hickory Creek Baptist Church. As a child, Bo was rambunctious and full of life. His mother fondly described him as "all boy," a testament to his adventurous spirit and zest for life that remained with him throughout his years. Bo was an ardent fan of NASCAR racing, with a particular fondness for Tony Stewart. He also had a deep love for his New Orleans Saints, never missing a game and always cheering them on with unwavering enthusiasm. A true Republican, Bo was passionate about his political beliefs and was always ready for a good-natured debate. His love for the outdoors was evident in his hobbies. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, finding peace and joy in the tranquility of nature. Bo's love extended beyond his human family to his beloved fur baby, Lucy. His bond with Lucy brought him immense joy and companionship. Left to Cherish his memories are his parents, Butch and Pat Davis; siblings, Debbie (Alan) Duncan, Cindy (Johnny) Pearrow, and Angie (Kim) Davis; daughter, Victoria (Brandon) Hennis; grandchildren, Kirsten and Chase Jacobs; honorary brother, Kevin Strebeck; along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
