First off…Who Dat!!?? Roger was a true Die-Hard Saints fan and ran off a Die-Hard battery. Roger loved his Busch beer, video poker and his dog, Chester. He was a carpenter by trade and worked for the Gulfport Police department and Harrison County Sherriff. It was in his nature to take care of everybody which he did very well. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and sitting by the fire telling stories. He was independent even through the trials life threw at him. Roger’s motto was “Do it right or don’t do it at all.” He will forever be remembered as the best husband, dad and pawpaw anyone could ever have. Roger wasn’t much on flowers, so in his honor, get your oil changed, call an old friend or make a donation towards his final funeral expenses. A Visitation will be from noon to 2 pm on Saturday, February 6 at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Funeral ceremonies are at 2 pm with Bro. Tommy Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery on 28th Ave. in Gulfport. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to take care of Roger’s family during this difficult time and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
