Robert Shannon Ladner

Robert Shannon Ladner, age 56, passed away Sunday, June 14 in Picayune, MS. He was born to the late Calvin Ladner and Elaine (Gamble) Reid on August 31, 1963 in Lumberton, MS. Shannon is preceded in death by his father, Calvin Ladner and bonus father, Boyd Reid. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted mother, Elaine Reid; sons, Cody, Chance and Justin Ladner; grandchildren, Ryleigh and Jeremy Ladner; siblings, Lynn Weisbrodt, Regina Taylor, Rochelle Wright, Shaine Ladner, Martha Jane Parker, Shay Byrne, Natasha Evans, Scott Ladner, Derek Ladner, Ashley Miller, Katie Cooley and B.J. Reid along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Shannon enjoyed the outdoors. He loved to hunt, fish and dirt track race. In his younger years if you went looking for him on Friday or Saturday night you could usually find his #21 car going around the track. While he enjoyed cruising the coast and driving a log truck his true love was his kids and those spoiled grandkids! Shannon was an amazing man. He had a heart of gold and would do anything for you. He was loved beyond measure and will be missed beyond words. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 20 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Lumberton from 4 pm to 6 pm.
