Raymond Norman Knight

Raymond Norman Knight, 85, passed away in his home, surrounded by his beloved family, on May 15, 2022. Born August 9, 1936 to Walter and Anna (Breaux) Knight in New Orleans and enjoyed his childhood in Westwego, LA. Raymond was a true definition of a hardworking man, only retiring just a few months shy of his 86th birthday. He worked for over forty years as a carpenter, building homes.  He then moved on to become a groundskeeper in Diamondhead, MS, where all his coworkers knew him as “Pops”.  Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 53 years, Sherry (Toups) Knight, his children, Michele Moran, Lois Knight, Thomas Breaux, and Patsy Clark; Sister, Patsy (Gary) Danos; and grandchildren, Michael DeRoche Jr, Harley Amanda Jenkins, C.J. Knight, Brittany Knight, Linda Covington, Ashley Clark, T.J. Breaux, Cory Breaux, and Charlotte Breaux; and 24 great grands and one great great grand. Raymond is preceded by his parents, Walter and Anna Knight; and one grandson, Robert Glass. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Knight family in their time of need.
