Peggy Ann Necaise, 74, joined her husband, Bernell, on September 11, 2023, at home surrounded by those she loved. Having been born in the Kiln on September 2, 1949, to her parents, Lavern and Elsie (Ladner) Necaise, she returned to her creator in the same town that she called home, all her life. Growing up, Peggy helped raise her siblings, being like a second mother to them, she was slowly preparing her heart to always care for others, even strangers, as her home and heart were always open. Peggy dedicated her life to nurturing her home and family, as an avid devotee of the Catholic faith, she poured love, grace, and spiritual guidance into her household. Peggy's radiant personality was marked by a love for dancing and singing, and she had an unparalleled knack for cooking. From beef stew to hamburgers and everything in between, you did not want to miss a meal at her house. Peggy's home was a safe haven of heartwarming melodies, delectable food, and lots of laughter. Her love for arranging flowers was symbolic of her nurturing nature. Peggy's life was an embodiment of love, dedication, and faith and she will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved her. Peggy is preceded by, her husband of fifty-six years, Bernell Necaise; her son, Kent Lewis Necaise; and her parents, Lavern and Elsie (Ladner) Necaise. Left to cherish her precious memories, are her two children, Brian (Rose) Necaise and Cory Necaise; her grandchildren, Tanner and Kristen Necaise, Brittany Seal, and Brennan Davis; her great-grandchildren, Mia Hux, and Paislee Bates; her siblings, Sherman (Jackie) Necaise, Ronnie Necaise, Sandra Dubuisson, Connie (Kevin) Cuevas, Evelyn (Keith) Hoda, Darrell (Angela) Necaise, and David(Sandra) Necaise; and her dearest friend, Sherry. Peggy leaves a legacy of extended family and friends as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who all loved her deeply.
