Pauline Ann Strahan, 82, of Lumberton, passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, May 22, 2023. Pauline was born on March 5, 1941, to Paul and Regina Martin, in New Orleans, LA. At just twenty years old, Pauline married the love of her life, Joe Strahan, and after sixty-two years of marriage, they managed to only spend three nights apart. She enjoyed going camping, flowers, and being a true patriotic woman, meaning her favorite colors were red, white, and blue! Above all, Pauline was strong in her faith and all about her family. Pauline will be remembered as a loving and kindhearted woman that will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Regina Martin; two siblings, Lou Martin, and Tootie Martin; in-laws, Lavon and Clara Strahan; grandbabies, Lil’ Mac Dearman and Baby Girl Strahan; and one great-grandbaby, Lawshe. Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband of sixty-two years, Joe Strahan; three daughters, Jenny Strahan, Vicky (Jeff) Geiger, and Regina (John) Crawley; her siblings, Joe Martin, Patricia Bourlet, and Katherine Ricord; her sister-in-law, Janet Cleveland; and four grandchildren, Brittany (Kevin) Colton, Ben (Josie) Lawshe, Leslie (Bruce) Blaker, and Brandon (Haley) Lawshe; along with eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 9:30 am-11:00 am with a Funeral Mass to follow, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lumberton. The family requests that in honor of "Nana" please wear your red, white, and blue! Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Strahan family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
