Naomi James Obituary

Our little angel, Naomi Grace James, was called to the Lord on February 23, 2021. She was born August 3, 2020 to Cameron James and Dakota DeJarnett. She was welcomed into her heavenly home by her great-grandfather, Andrew Lee Lewis, Sr; great grandparents, Charlie and Betty DeJarnett; great-great grandmother, Rena Mae Terrell; great uncles, Gary Lee Lewis, Andrew Lee Lewis, Jr, Robert Sinclair Lewis, Bennie Atkinson and cousin, Martin Luther Atkinson, Jr. “Juicy” as those close to her fondly called her, leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents, Cameron James and Dakota DeJarnett; grandparents, Willie and Stacie DeJarnett, Joann and Willie Gordon and Charles James;  her brother, Easton, her sister, Princess Delilah and extended family and friends. Despite her short time on earth, she was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around her. Juicy was always smiling and trying to give kisses. She will be remembered as a happy baby that will live on in our hearts forever. Services will be held at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry on Saturday, February 27, 2021. Visitation will begin at 12 noon, with a chapel service set for 2 pm. Bro. Gerry James will be officiating, with interment to follow at Little Bond Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to walk in this deep valley with Dakota and the family, asking that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My angel up in heaven, I wanted you to know, I feel you watching over me, everywhere I go. I wish you were with me, but that can never be, Memories of you in my heart, that only I can see. My angel up in heaven, I hope you understand, That I would give anything, if I could hold your hand. I’d hold you oh so tightly, and never let you go, And all the love inside of me, to you I would show. My angel up in heaven, for now we are apart, You’ll always live inside of me, deep within my heart.- Mama loves you Juicy

You left without warning, gone so fast now all we have are our memories of our past.- Your brother and sister, Easton and Princess Delilah
