Nancy Wilson Obituary

Nancy Pauline Wilson, just 39 years young, went home to heaven Saturday, September 24, 2022 in Saucier. She was born December 29, 1982 in Jackson, MS, the daughter of the late Paul Osborne and Ruthie Edell Puckett (Frenchy) LeMaire. She grew up between Terry and Byram in central Mississippi until about age 12, when her mom moved the family to Gulfport. Nancy was a free spirit that loved animals and art from a young age. She was an outdoors young lady that enjoyed birds, butterflies, horses, and so much more. Nancy wasn't a "girly-girl" by no means, often coming back in as dirty as any boy. But when she wanted to be, Nancy was as beautiful as they come, both inside and out. She attended Gulfport schools where she participated in ROTC. When she finished her educational pursuits, she spread her wings and flew, living in New York, California, and a few other places as well. Nancy faced many challenges in her life, handling each one of them in her own way. But one thing was certain, she always did her best for her children. She is remembered as a loving, caring mother with a strong Christian faith that was unwavering no matter what. She always had beautiful, flowing hair that she actually considered her crown from the Lord. Nancy was saved and baptized at Success Baptist Church several years ago, doing her best to live out her faith daily. To Nancy, her family was so important and she spent as much time with them as possible. She enjoyed fishing with her mother and grandmother when she was younger and yes, she actually caught fish from early on...when she wasn't trying to eat the bait. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed making crafts and things, especially for her family members. She would make trinkets and things like small rugs, statues, vases, and other small, personal items to give as presents, each one directly from her heart to whomever she was making it for. It goes without saying that she leaves this life far too son, and that her loving kindness will be forever missed by her family and all whose life she touched. Nancy was preceded death by her father and step mother, Paul W. and Priscilla Kay Osborne; maternal grandparents W.L. and Nancy Puckett, and paternal grandparents Robert and Laura Osborne; along with one uncle, Mike Osborne. Left to cherish her memories are: her three children: Seirra LeMaire, Lucas Wilson, and Giovanni Woods, all of Saucier; her mother and "dad", Ruthie and Frenchy LeMaire, also of Saucier; her siblings: Nikki and Alisha Osborne, Jennifer Antonio, Paul Osborne, Jr., and Elizabeth Morgan, along with numerous extended family and many friends. Services are set for Saturday, September October 1 at Success Baptist Church in Saucier. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM, with Pastor Joe Holder officiating. Afterward, Nancy will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
