Mildred Smith

Mildred (Mae Mae) Smith age 85 was called home to be with her Lord Jesus on the morning of December 29, 2020, surrounded by her loving family and husband of over 69 years, Homer Smith Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Bertis Hendry, brothers: Dorman, R. O., Roger and Jerry. She is survived by husband Homer Sr., and children:

Danny, Homer JR., and Kay, 11 grandchildren, 31 great grandchild, 7 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mae Mae was a hair dresser for over 50 years and at one time owned a clothing store, Fashions For Little People.

Mae Mae, having a servants heart, was deeply dedicated to youth ministry, serving on the board of directors for Youth For Christ organization. She touched hundreds of lives throughout her life...all lovingly knowing her as “Mae Mae.”

She was a member of Bridge Community Church; a memorial service will be held at a later date. In her loving memory, donations to Youth For Christ, Gulfport; will be greatly appreciated.
