Michael Pablo Wells, 55 of Gulfport, passed away August 04, 2023 at Ocean Springs Hospital. He was born February 15, 1968 in Biloxi, the baby of three children to John David and the late Earlene Ann (Pablo) Wells. Mike, as he was widely known, grew up in Gulfport where he enjoyed riding motorcross bikes with his siblings and friends. As a kid he spent countless nights fishing on the beach, but growing up he spent his weekends at the motorcross track watching his brother, Randy, race. He attended Gulfport schools, graduating with the Admiral Class of 1986 and went to work. Mike built cabinets for several years, and also spent some time as an over the road driver. Not one to give up, if he didn’t know how to fix something, he was only a youtube video away from it. He is remembered as a loving son who was a kind and thoughtful brother and always sweet to his sister growing up. Mike also dearly cherished his nieces, nephews, and great-nieces/nephews. He loved being on the water or in the boat, often going to Ship Island with his family and friends. In his spare time, he built some models and was an Oakland Raider fan. For all that he was, Mike will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all whose life he touched. He was preceded by his mother, Earlene Wells. Left to cherish his memories are: his father John (Winnie) Wells of Gulfport; his two siblings, his sister Suzanne Lee of Covington, and his brother Randy (Deb) Wells of Biloxi, along with his nieces, a great nephew, numerous extended family members and many friends. Mike's final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. A memorial service will be held at St James Catholic Church this Saturday 8/19/2023. Visitation is from 10:30 to 11:00 with mass to follow. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Wells family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
