Michael Anthony Dotts

Michael Anthony "Tony" Dotts, 51 and originally of MS, passed away October 11th in Sparta, WI. He was born November 9, 1969 in Greenwood, MS, one of four and son of Richard F. Dotts and Shelia (Loden) Albritton. Tony grew up on the Gulf Coast where he enjoyed the outdoors, sports and tinkering on cars. He moved to the Wiggins area in the early 90s, attending MGCCC at Perk where he became a draftsman. He worked in several places, including Keith Huber, for a contractor at the Stennis Space Center for NASA and for Toro, Inc. He was a charming and friendly person. Tony never met a stranger and truly loved being a father, enjoying working on older cars, especially the mustang he gave his son. He did have his share of struggles in life, doing his best to battle and over come them. In recent years, he had returned to Wisconsin where he got a fresh start with a job, surrounded by family and friends who supported him. A fun loving guy, Tony will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his mother, Shelia Albritton and his step-father, Bill Loden. Left to cherish his memories are: his three children, one daughter Renee (Dustin) Platt of Slidell, LA and two sons, Blake (Julie) Dotts and Mason Dotts, both of Wiggins; his father Richard (Debbie) Dotts of Baton Rouge LA; sisters Terry (Donnie) Peterson of Sparta, WI and Shannon (Mitch) Allen of Denham Springs, LA, his brother, Ricky (Crystal) Dotts of Reedsburg, WI, plus his bonus siblings, sisters Becky Hutto and Roxanne Cochran and a brother Billy Loden. Tony leaves a legacy of four grandchildren: Graycen and Blakely Dotts and Alice and Daniel Platt, along with numerous extended family and friends. A memorial service has been scheduled for 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Perryville Baptist Church in McHenry, where he was a member. Everyone is welcome to come share memories with the family.
