Matthew John Baringer, affectionately known as "Matt Matt" to his loved ones, was born on May 24, 1984. He passed away on November 13, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will be remembered by all who knew him. Matthew was the son of Mark Edson Baringer and the late Mary Jo (Davis) Orman, and the stepson of the late Chip Orman. He was the cherished grandson of the late Betty and Gaines Davis, Ned Thomas Baringer, and the late Brenda Joyce Baringer. His late great grandparents, George Dudley Baringer and Violet Burge Baringer, were also influential figures in his life. Matthew is survived by his brother, Michael Orman, his sister-in-law, Erica Orman, and his sisters, Lacee Orman and Sarah Evans. He also leaves behind his brother-in-law, Hayden Evans, and numerous beloved uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
Matthew's life was defined by his unwavering loyalty, his ability to make friends with everyone he met, and his commitment to helping those in need. His joy was infectious, and his presence was a gift to all who knew him. He had a passion for the outdoors and found peace and happiness in fishing. He was proud of his talents as a salesman, but he was proudest when he was surrounded by his family and loved ones. His "babies" would run to him the moment he walked into a room, a testament to the love and warmth he radiated.
