Mary Frances Ladner, 94, of Poplarville, went to her eternal home on November 3, 2020, surrounded by family and friends. Mary Frances was born on July 24, 1926, in Deer Park, AL. She was a lifelong resident of the Savannah community. She is survived by her daughter, Regenia Davis (John “Peanut”); One grandson, Daniel Davis (Kalyn); One great-grandson, Brooks Davis. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary Frances was also known as Nana to Annette Sims, Penny Kleinpeter, Randy Sims, and Lee Ladner. She was Maw-Maw to Dalton and Ethan Spiers. She is preceded in death by husband, Cecil Ladner; parents, John and Lettie Buckalew; siblings, John-Douglas, Troy, Kermit, and Arthur Buckalew all from Poplarville. She was employed by Movie Star Inc. for over 40 years as a supervisor in the shipping department. Mary Frances was a devoted Christian and member of Juniper Grove Baptist Church for 83 years. She was highly involved in the Women’s Missionary Union as well as the Auxiliary Club where she served at the Pearl River County Nursing Home. Her love for the Lord, family, friends, and community stretched far and wide. The family will receive friends at Juniper Grove Baptist Church from 10 am to 1 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2020, with funeral services beginning at 1 pm. Burial services will follow at the church cemetery. A special thanks to Ashley and Karen at Solace Hospice for providing their services in a time of need.
