Marty Jeryl Ladner

Marty Jeryl Ladner, 62, of Saucier, MS., passed away on March 14, 2023, at Tulane Medical Center in Louisiana. Marty was born on December 17, 1960, in Wiggins, MS to parents Murphy "Bug" and Margaret (Ladner) Ladner. Marty was country through and through. He worked hard to make sure his family was always provided for. If there was ever a time in his life Marty needed work, Louis Smith Construction never failed to have a spot waiting for him. He was considered a superb welder by so many and he never failed to pass his knowledge on to others, whether they wanted it or not. His favorite saying was "If you're gonna be dumb, you'd better be tough".  He was full of quick wit and could always make you laugh.  Marty and his loving wife, Kathy spent forty-two years together and brought three wonderful children into this world. Preceding Marty in death, his parents Bug and Margaret Ladner; one niece Shelley Johnston, two nephews Justin Lizana and Clint Ladner, and his partner in crime, Richard Graham. Left to cherish his memory, are his loving wife of forty-two years, Kathy Ladner (Vierling); two daughters, Robin Ladner, and Ashley Ladner; one son Casey Ladner; three sisters Myron (Julie Innis) Johnston, Jane (Flubsy) Triplett, and Melanie (Timmy) Bond; one brother Jody (Cindy) Ladner; his daughter in law, Angela Ladner; his brother from another mother, Roger (Glenda) Ladner, and his favorite child, Brennan (Bailey) Hoda, all of Saucier, MS. Marty leaves a legacy of five grandchildren, Tanner, Addilyn (Pete), Harper, Griffin, and Alivia Claire, all of Saucier, MS. as well as, a whole slew of close friends and extended family whom he loved very much! Services for Marty will be Saturday, March 25, 2023, at Amazing Love Ministry in Pass Christian, MS. beginning at 10:00 am for the visitation followed by the funeral service at noon. Food and fellowship will be in the Hall after services, all are welcome.
