Linda Ruth Lott, age 76, passed away on November 12, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Poplarville on August 30, 1947 to the late Hubert Luther Smith and Margaret Mary Smith. Linda Lott, a woman whose life was a tapestry of love, faith, and kindness. She was a devoted member of Juniper Grove Baptist Church and was a woman of unwavering faith, finding solace in her love for the Lord. Linda's favorite color was a radiant yellow, a hue that mirrored her bright and sunny disposition. She was a light-hearted soul who cherished the simple joys in life, spreading warmth wherever she went. Linda had an affinity for angels, reflecting her gentle and nurturing spirit. Known for her aversion to conflict, Linda was a peacemaker who embraced people with open arms. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she tirelessly lent a helping hand to others. She treated those she loved like family, and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye; their laughter and joy brought immeasurable happiness to her heart. A true matriarch, Linda found joy in cooking and hosting for holidays, sharing her love through delicious meals that brought loved ones together. She held dear the old-school values of love, patience, and resilience, embodying a timeless grace that touched the lives of those around her. Linda Lott leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and a profound kindness that resonates in the hearts of all who knew her. Welcoming her into Heaven is her loving parents, Hubert and Margaret Smith; and one brother, Sonny Smith. Left to Cherish her memories are her loving children, Christy (Robert) Ogden and Beau Lott; sisters, Brenda Smith and Marjorie (Fletcher) Spiers; brothers, Floyd (Betty) Smith, Bud (Wanda) Smith, and Harlon (Vikie) Smith; grandchildren, Jacob Ogden and Sophia Ogdan. Also Left to cherish her memories are numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
