Linda Gail (Hayes) Armstrong

Linda Gail Armstrong, 69, of Saucier, passed away October 11, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 14, 1950 in Jasper, AL to Dee and Imojean Hayes. Linda is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Rocky Hayes. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, Scott Hayes and Ray Armstrong; her daughter, Dawn  Sherman; daughters in law and son in law, Jessica Armstrong, Tomi Hayes and Timothy Sherman; her brother, Tony Hayes; 9 grandkids; 8 great-grands along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Linda grew up on the MS Gulf Coast and enjoyed painting, drawing and planting flowers. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone. Linda was devoted to her family and was a remarkable mom and grandma. She would rather be with her family than any where else. While her passing leaves a hole in our lives, we take comfort in knowing that we will see her again one day. A Visitation will be held from 1 pm to 3 pm on Friday, October 16 at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Funeral services at 3 pm with interment to follow at Finley Cemetery on Hwy 53.
