Lea Crosby Obituary

Lea Ann Crosby, 51, passed away on June 27, 2022 at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport, MS. Lea was born on August 22, 1970 in Scottsburg, IN to parents Morris Broughton and Mildred Griffin. Lea was raised in Ocean Springs, MS and graduated from Bay High School. After High school, she pursued her dreams and earned an associates degree in education and went on to be a preschool teacher for several years where she would be known to her students as "choppy." She was very fulfilled working with children and helping light the way for their future. When Lea was 21 years old she met the love of her life, David Crosby. David and Lea were married for 30 years and had four amazing children together. Lea's life was her children and family. Lea was a very caring person that loved spending time with her loved ones, singing at the top of her lungs to a Luke Bryan song, and reading a good book on the beach. She was an amazing mom, grandmother, a friend to many, and will be missed dearly. Lea is preceded in death by her parents, Morris Broughton and Mildred Little; brothers, Jake Broughton, Terry Broughton, and Michael Broughton. Lea is survived by her loving husband, David Crosby; children, Hollie (Brien) Denning of Saucier, MS, Hailey (Allison) Crosby of Carmel, IN, Brasen Crosby of Saucier, MS, and Bralynne Crosby of Saucier, MS; grandchildren, Ashton Denning, Payton Barnes, Jorden Denning, Evin Denning, Audan Denning, Alexa Boehm, Brandon Boehm, and Jaylen Boehm.
