Kyle Patrick Poe

Kyle Patrick Poe, 48, passed away July 17th in Picayune, MS. Born February 19, 1973 in Slidell, LA, Kyle is the son of the late Dallas Dale Poe and Susan Alice Hanlin. Growing up in South Louisiana, Kyle was definitely the outdoors type. He was very active and athletic, playing soccer and football along the way. But what he really loved most, was being on the river, camping and fishing, spending time with his family and friends. Following his educational pursuits, Kyle went to work in construction doing whatever was needed. He is remembered as simply a great person. Kyle was a loving brother who was fun to be around, and though he had his struggles in life, he was definitely loved by many and will be greatly missed. He was preceded by his father, Dallas Poe; maternal grandparents Kyle Preston & Mary Chandler Hanlin, and paternal grandparents Joseph C. & Louise Hebert. Left to cherish his memories are: his three children: Kaylie Elizabeth Poe, Gavin Lee Poe and John Gage Risher; his loving mother, Susan (Jimmy) Chandler of Shreveport, LA; sisters Christina (Greg) Kirkland of Slidell and Melinda (Paul) Poe of Houma, LA. Kyle's final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring and will set a memorial service at a later date.
