Julie Field, age 59, passed away January 5th, 2021, after a hard fight with Covid-19. Our community lost a devoted wife and mother who dedicated her life to working as a compassionate nurse for over 35 years.
Julie was born and raised in Elk Point, South Dakota, to Janet and Russel Rosenbaum. She graduated from Elk Point High School in 1979, and she began a career in cosmetology following completion of Stewart's Cosmetology School. Shortly after, she followed her passion for medicine and graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing, which led her to Panama City, Florida where she met the love of her life, Mike Field. They started a life in Biloxi, Mississippi, where they had their "miracle baby," Christine.
Julie enjoyed spending time in the kitchen, cooking homemade recipes that were passed down through generations, and being on the water. She shared her kindness through her work and personal life and never met a stranger.
She is preceded in death by her father, Russel Rosenbaum; father and mother-in-law, Don and Ann Field. She is survived by her mother, Janet Rosenbaum; husband of 35 years, Mike Field; their beautiful daughter, Christine; sisters, Lorie, Kelly, Robin; brother, Curt; and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held January 9th at Coalville Methodist Church in Biloxi at 10 AM followed by a service at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Coalville Methodist Church Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to assist the family during this difficult time and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
