Jimmy Ray Parker, Sr.

Jimmy Ray Parker Sr., age 74, passed away on April, 18 2022 surrounded by his loving family. Jimmy was born on March 12, 1948 to the late Francis and Hertis Moran in Gulfport, Mississippi.
Jimmy was born in Gulfport but was raised in the Lizana Community. Jimmy was a truck driver for 15 years then became a Heavy Machine Operator for Twin L. Construction in Pass Christian for over 35 years. He was a hard-working man. And he was a man of few words that would do anything for his family and anyone in need. Jimmy was humble and modest with a heart of gold, his great sense of humor would put anyone in a good mood. He was a great provider and family man that enjoyed watching wrestling and old westerns but most of all spending time with his loved ones. Jimmy was a great father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many, he will be missed dearly.
Jimmy is preceded by his parents, Francis and Hertis Moran and his sister, Dorothy Necaise. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 39 years, Mary Diane Parker of Saucier, MS; children, LaShawn (Randy) Phelps of South Carolina, Miranda (Donald) Davenport of Gulfport, MS, Jimmy Jr. (Tasha) Parker of Gulfport, MS, Charles "C.J." (Deena) Necaise of Corinth, MS, and Shanna (Richard) Lewis of Gulfport, MS; sisters, MaryFrances, and Marlene Moran; brother, Marlin Moran. Also left to cherish his memories are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Trinity Funeral Services, McHenry on April 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Parker family in their time of need and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
