Jimmy Ray Hester, III, 25 of Saucier, passed away early Friday morning, Sept. 10, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. Born November 10, 1995 in Gulfport, Jimmy is the oldest of five children to Jimmy Ray Hester, Jr. and the late Deonna Michelle Douglas. He grew up in Saucier where hunting and fishing became things he liked to do. He also liked fast cars and country music. In his mind, he was a NASCAR driver and country music star. While his car may not have been the fastest, he always tried to make it sound like it was. Jimmy was the life-of-the-party type, just fun to be around and always had something going. He met Ashley and they were married, making their home in Saucier. Jimmy worked at Ingalls as a welder, but he could do most anything he set his mind to. That suited him because he wasn't one to stay in one place very long. He has had a few "good" jobs...some that most anyone else would have made a career at. Places like Dupont, Taber, Hood, Jindal and more. He was truly one of a kind. A very caring person, but in a weird sort of way, Jimmy loved to keep it stirred up so to speak. He truly enjoyed his family and kids. He sang and danced a lot, even though he might not have been very good at either. If nothing else, Jimmy was a loving and adventurous guy. He loved everyone and never met a stranger. Though he departs this life far too soon, he will be forever loved and missed by all who knew him. He was preceded by his mother, Deonna Michelle Hester, and his son Kade. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife Ashley and their children: Waylon, Kaydence and Lane; his father Jimmy Ray (Amberlyn) Hester, Jr.; Grandmother Nancy; his sisters Brianna and Mackenzie Hester, with brothers Justin Hester (Destiny Sudduth) and Brendan Circello, all of Saucier; his nephew Levi and niece Josie. He leaves behind numerous extended family and so many friends, to remember the laughs and times they shared. Funeral services are planned for Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Trinity Funeral Services in McHenry. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a chapel service at 3:00. Afterward, he will be laid to rest in the Broadus Cemetery in the Palmer Creek community. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Hester family during this trying time, asking everyone to keep Ashley, the kids and the entire family in your thoughts and prayers through this trying time.
