Jerry Wayne Frierson

With heavy hearts we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Frierson of Picayune, MS, who unexpectedly passed away June 14th, 2020.
He is survived by his children Tonya Gipson, Tiffany (Eddie) Hursey, Jerry (Trish) Frierson II, Adam (Wendy) Frierson and Amy (Greg)Fortenberry. He was a proud grandfather to Landon, Alanna, Leighton, Little Eddie, Hunter, Gracelynn, Olivia, Hannah, Alexandra, Cheyenne, and Lauren. Fondly remembered by his sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends.  He enjoyed his time by spending it with his crazy dog Yeti, hunting, cruising the backroads, having crawfish boils, and spending time with family and friends.  His favorite moments were when he spent time with his grandkids who kept him young and on his toes.  Everyone who remembers him is asked to celebrate Jerry’s life in their own way, raise a glass of their favorite drink in his memory, it would be quite appropriate. Although our hearts are heavy, we can find comfort in knowing he is watching over us.  There will be a graveside service June 27th, 2020 @ 9am at Burgetown Cemetery. The address to the cemetery is 314 Burgetown Road. Carriere, Ms. 39426.
