Jennifer Lynn Dawkins, age 40, of Purvis, MS, passed away peacefully on May 05, 2022, at Leaksville Rehabilitation & Nursing center in Leaksville, MS. Jennifer was born on February 09, 1982, in Hattiesburg, MS to Jon and Donna (Shepherd) Dawkins. Growing up in Purvis, MS, Jennifer graduated from Purvis High School, class of '98. After High School Jennifer pursued her nursing degree and graduated with her associates from Pearl River Community College. Jennifer loved nursing and her family. She will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved her. Jennifer is survived by, her dad, Jon Dawkins of Perkinston, MS; her mom Donna (Shepherd) Dawkins; her only daughter Joy Shearer of Purvis, MS; and one brother Samuel Dawkins of Wiggins, MS. Jennifers wishes were to be cremated, which her family is honoring. A small memorial provided by the family will be held at a later time. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Dawkins family during this difficult time and would ask that you remember them in your prayers in the days to come.
