James “Jim” Vincent passed away on Easter, April 17, 2022 at the age of 88, in his home in Long Beach, Mississippi. Jim led a very healthy, active life until his recent battle with cancer that ended peacefully in his sleep. Jim was born in Missouri and spent most of his childhood and adult life in Missouri, with a short time in California and Colorado. Jim was an Army Veteran, serving in the later years of the Korean War. Jim developed and owned his Construction Company, James A. Vincent Construction, in Springfield, Missouri, from 1971 until selling in 1986. Jim and his soulmate Bebe moved to Long Beach from Missouri in 2020, after selling all his real estate. Jim and Bebe enjoyed the casino life socially in recent years. He was an avid card player and competed in many tournaments. Mr. Vincent is survived by his soulmate, Rosalind “Bebe” Crothers. Jim has 3 brothers and 2 sisters, and is survived by 2 brothers, Bill and Glenn Vincent. Jim has 5 sons, and is survived by 4 of them: Randy Gardner Vincent, Jeff Vincent, David Vincent, and Bryan Vincent. Jim is survived by 15 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. A celebration of Life will be held in Missouri with a date to be determined.
