James Michael “Tiger” Lovett, age 59, passed away on January 3, 2022 in Kiln, Mississippi. James was born on July, 21 1962 to Thomas and Mary Lovett in Minot, North Dakota. If Tiger wasn’t working, you knew he would be out fishing, hunting, or cruisin’ on his motorcycle. You could catch him playing bingo every Sunday at his moms and of course, eating fried chicken! Tiger was a fan of racing, between watching go-karts in Talladega or racing his own dirt car to get that “roll over” prize. Though he had so many hobbies he loved, his pride and joy were his grands and great grands! Tiger will be greatly missed by all his family and friends, because "once you met him, you never forgot him." James is preceded by his father, Thomas Grady Lovett and his son, Joshua Lovett. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 32 years, Patricia Lovett; Mother, Mary Lou Lovett; his eight children, Angela Lovett (Zack Simms) of kiln, Patricia Lovett (Steven Barrios) Slidell, Belinda (Eric) Holden of Picayune, William (Ashley) Draughon of Kiln, James (Katie) Lovett of Gulfport, Austin Draughon of Pass Christian, Daniel Lovett of Pass Christian, and Jennifer (Michael) Rylas of Mt. Olive; Siblings, Patricia (Carlton) Clark, Belinda Thorton, Bill (Carol) Lovett, JJ (Sandy) Lovett, Thomas (Dotty) Lovett, and Allen Lovett. Grandchildren Patrick and Alisia Glidewell, Ryder, Lilly, and Kota Lovett, Mike Barrios, Carrie and Daisy Draughon, Hal an E.J. Holden, Briana, Donald II, and Kloey McGill, and Emma Delhommer; Great Grandchildren, Brentley and Bella Glidewell. Along with many nieces, nephews, and his "Boss Man" Henry. Services are set for Saturday, January 8, 2022 at James and Katie Lovetts home in Gulfport. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, followed by services at 1:00pm. Afterward James will be laid to rest in the Standard Sand Hill Cemetery in Kiln, MS. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Lovett family in their time of need and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
