Jack Joseph Donnelly, Jr.

Mr. Jack Joseph Donelly, Jr., 63 of Waveland, passed away July 22nd in Picayune. Jack was born February 21, 1956 in New Orleans, LA, one of eight children to Jack J. Sr. & Dolores E. (Olavarrieta) Donnelly. He grew up a Southern gent that enjoyed being on the water, and of his passions in life, cooking was right at the top of his list. After high school, Jack enlisted in the US Army, serving honorably in the mid 70's. Following his discharge, Jack made a successful career in automotive sales for more than 30 years. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jack was preceded by his parents, Jack Sr. & Dolores Donnelly; his sister Mary Jean and his brother Michael. Left to cherish his memories are: his three sons, Jacob, Joseph, and Jack III; eight grandchildren: Tyler Mark, Alisa, Madison, Hayden, Roman, Kennedy, Penelope, and Scarlett; sisters Kim Thorning, Dale, Erin, & Charmaine Donnelly, and a brother, Bryan Donnelly; his loving fiancé Peggy Parker, along with many friends, neighbors, and countless customers through the years. Jack's final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. A memorial service has been set for 11:00 AM Saturday, August 3rd at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church where he attended. All who knew Jack are encouraged to attend.
