Irene Roberta Reaume, 81 of Saucier, passed away this morning at her home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family. Irene was born Ma 6, 1939 in Montgomery, AL, the daughter of John Wesley and Mellie (Owens) Campbell. She grew up in Ruleville, MS, a small delta town where she enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. Irene learned how to quilt and pick cotton, which she did quite a bit of in her time. A hard day's work was not something she was afraid of. After graduating from Ruleville High School, she went to work in the garment factory, working until she retired as a seamstress. Irene has lived in the Saucier community since 1988. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded by her parents, John and Mellie Campbell. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Renee McDaniel of Saucier, and her son Kenny Reaume of McHenry, along with her grandsons, Timothy McDaniel and Ricky Reaume. Irene's final wishes were to be cremated, which her family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Reaume family in their time of need, asking everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
