Gayle Annette Johnson, a beloved long-time resident of Pass Christian, MS, peacefully passed away on August 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 14, 1960, in Crestview, FL to Edgar and Mary Maxine Williams. Gayle found immense joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a special fondness for her beloved Yorkie dogs, Max, Heidi, and Lucy, who brought endless companionship and happiness into her world. Her culinary skills were a source of delight for her family and friends, as she enjoyed the art of cooking and cake decorating. Gayle's creativity knew no bounds; she found solace and inspiration in cross-stitching, arts and crafts, and always had a knack for turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. Beyond her artistic pursuits, Gayle valued the bonds of family and friendship above all. She cherished moments spent with her loved ones, whether it was sharing stories, laughter, or simply being in each other's company. Her daughters and her grandchildren were a source of pride and love that held a special place in her heart. Gayle was a cherished daughter, sister, partner, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her warm smile, kind heart, and creative spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Gayle leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever live on in the hearts. As we reflect on the beautiful moments shared with Gayle, let us remember her infectious laughter, unwavering love, and the genuine warmth she extended to all. Gayle was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Mary Maxine Williams; and her long-term partner, John Stiglet. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Jessica Roberts and Lauren Singleton; grandchildren, Destini Jackson, Allie Armstrong, Hunter Colburn, Dannica Singleton, and Aspen Singleton; sisters, Beth Canon, Shirley Tillman, and Mary Huffman. Also left to cherish her memories are numerous other loving family members and friends. The Johnson family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to her devoted nurse, Danielle, and the compassionate nurses and staff at Sunplex Subacute Center for providing Gayle with exceptional care during her time there. A celebration of Gayle's life will be announced at a later date.
