Frankie Joe Martin, age 67, passed away on November 01, 2023 in Poplarville, MS. He was born in Hattiesburg on October 11, 1956 to the late Quinton Martin and Dorothy Morgan. Frankie's journey began in Lumberton, and he later moved to Poplarville, where he and his wife raised their family. After completing his schooling, he worked in the oil fields for many years, displaying his strong work ethic and dedication. As time went on, he transitioned to farming, a pursuit that allowed him to stay close to the land he loved and the family he cherished. Frankie Martin was a man whose life was a testament to love, hard work, and resolute faith. His love for his family and the Lord was unwavering. He lived his life guided by the values of his faith and shared his beliefs with others. Frankie never met a stranger, for he had a remarkable gift for making friends wherever he went. His kind and warm-hearted nature made people feel comfortable and welcomed in his presence. Frankie's life was a reflection of his genuine, down-to-earth, and old-school values that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a true country style about him, a man who worked tirelessly outdoors, often tinkering with cars and reveling in the simple pleasures of life. Frankie found joy in fishing, camping, riding ATVs, and floating down the river. These moments in nature were precious shared experiences with his loving friends and family. His legacy will forever remind us of the value of kindness, hard work, and indiscriminate love. Frankie was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be missed dearly. Welcoming Frankie into Heaven is his loving parents, Quinton Dwayne Martin Sr., and Dorothy Simpson. He is also welcomed by his beloved sister, Rhonda Martin. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 43 years, Lugene Martin; son, Kree (Tiffany) Martin; brothers, Quinton Dwayne (Pat) Martin, Ken (Michelle) Martin, and Lawrence Baradell; sisters, Sheila Treadway, Sondra (Lennis) Goar, Deidra (Charlie) Lyons, and Toie (William) Davis; grandchildren, Korban and Kaston Martin. Also left to cherish his memories are numerous nieces, nephews and loving friends.
