Farrel Fultz, 66 of Carriere, passed away Wednesday evening at Highland Hospital in Picayune. He was born on New Years Day 1954 in Gary, IN, the son and baby of eight children of the late Nina Faye France and Bernie Fultz. Farrell grew up in the Griffith area where he enjoyed fishing and hunting, dirt track racing, camping and travelling. He made a career installing flooring, and was very accomplished at it. There wasn't anything he couldn't do, from wood to tile and anything in between, customizable to whatever his client wanted. Farrell was the type of guy that would go out of his way to help anyone. He had a great sense of humor and loved making others laugh, enjoyed the outdoors and with a cold Bud in his hand, life just didn't get any better. Farrell did his best to take care of his kids and help them with whatever they needed, though at times he said he wouldn't...he usually did anyway. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded by his parents, brothers Johnny and Ray Fultz, Ralph France, his sister Diane Fultz, and a brother-in-law, Albie Jones. Left to cherish his memories are: one son, Karl Reuder of Ft. Payne, AL, daughters Samantha Reuder of Carriere, Amber Reuder and Meghan Fultz, both of Lake Charles, LA, and a bonus son, Duke Johnson, also of Lake Charles; his wife Lisa; and two sisters, Wanda Cassidy and Sue Jones, both of Griffith, IN, and his brother Vaughn France of Moorehead, KY. Farrell leaves a legacy of six grandchildren, along with numerous extended family and friends through the years. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Fultz family in their time of need and asks everyone to keep them in your prayers through this difficult time.
