Elizabeth Marie Rogers, age 48, passed away on August 21, 2023 in Jackson, Mississippi. She was born on January 9, 1975 in Mobile, Alabama to William and Pamela Sasser. A CNA, EMT, volunteer fire fighter, and bus driver by profession, Elizabeth's commitment to aiding others extended to every facet of her life. Her presence was a gift, and she approached challenges with a toughness matched only by her warm and caring heart. Her authenticity, characterized by a refreshing lack of pretense, made her a true friend to all who knew her. Cooking was her canvas for sharing love, particularly evident in her heartfelt holiday gatherings. She found joy in bringing people together over meals, embodying the true spirit of togetherness. Her love for her family and all those she encountered was evident in her selfless actions. Elizabeth's appreciation for life's simple pleasures was mirrored in her love for animals and her fondness for coastal retreats. She found solace by the sea and took pleasure in crafting dog treats, an activity that she shared with her daughters and furry friends. Her legacy is one of generosity, compassion, and selflessness. Elizabeth's life was a testament to the profound impact one person can have on the world. She gave more than she took, leaving behind a trail of kindness and goodwill. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Jason Golden; parents, William and Pamela Sasser; children, Brittany Howell, Brionna (Shane) Ducote, Nate (Karee) Fox, Justin (Allison) Fox, Madasen Golden, and Hope (Shelby) Fox; grandchildren, Sean Ducote, Ryder Ducote, Hadley fox, Mavryck Fox, and Myles Fox; brothers, Chris (Brooke) Sasser and Jeff Sasser; and two nephews, Jeremy Sasser, and Joshua Sasser.
