Edward Holliman Obituary

Edward "Eddie" Eugene Holliman, 43, of McHenry, MS, passed away unexpectedly, September 23, 2021 at Memorial Stone County.  Eddie was born one of two children to Albert and Lilley (Pearce) Holliman, November 11, 1977 in Gulfport, MS.  Growing up, one of four total, in Pass Christian, MS, there was always a good time to be had.  Eddie was an adventurous little boy who enjoyed hunting and especially fishing. He would become a self employed commercial fisherman and specialize in the shrimping business, something he enjoyed all the way to retirement.  There was just something about the water that he loved, and he loved sharing that love with his family.  Eddie was an awesome dad who of course always took his kiddos on fishing trips every free minute he had!  If Eddie was fishing, Eddie was his happiest!! He would finally marry his best friend of eleven years, Susan, who together, they did everything. Eddie gave Susan the strength and courage she never thought she was capable of having, and with that she will cherish the memory of her beloved.  He was an awesome cook! If you've learned anything about Eddie so far, then you know he was best at cooking FISH! And also chili. His favorite thing to do in the kitchen though was to bake, Eddie was always creating something different and sweet!  Eddie also had a love for all animals as well as putting his green thumb to use in the yard.  He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Lilley (Pearce) Holliman.  Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of seven years, Susan (Stapleton) Holliman of McHenry, MS; his children Natalie Hebert of Saucier, MS, Toma, Dakota, Shyanna, Raven, and Skylar Holliman all of North Carolina, and Elisia Hollifield of Picayune, MS; his brothers Cody Holliman of Gulfport, MS and Russell Holliman of Pass Christian, MS; and one sister Gina Holliman of West Virginia.  Eddie leaves a legacy of three grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Eddie's wishes were to be cremated, which his wife, Susan, is honoring.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Holliman family during this time and would ask that you remember Eddie's family in your prayers in the days to come.
