Dorothy L. Seal passed away in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family, May 11, 2022, in Leetown, MS. She was born one of ten children to Robert and Ella (Smith) Lee, on December 7, 1948, in Picayune, MS. Dorothy grew up in the Bienville/Leetown community. She then went on to accomplish many things in her life, all while raising her three daughters. Dorothy worked as a lab technician and her most beloved job, a newspaper carrier. She worked hard for everything she had and was very proud of herself and her accomplishments. Though she was a busy woman, she was a homemaker at heart, enjoying her children, gardening, and canning, especially her tomatoes. Dorothy loved traveling and camping with her family and going on girls’ trips once a year. To her grands and great grands she was known as “Granny” and would always sing “You are my Sunshine '' to each and every one of them. Dorothy will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind firecracker and will be dearly missed by all those who had the joy of knowing her. Left to cherish her memories are her daughters, Kim (Lane) Crawford, Nicole (Willie) Anderson, and Sindee (Tyrone Davis) Seal; grandchildren, Aaron Crawford, Bethany Hallman, Bradley Anderson, Hunter Anderson, Logan Anderson, Domonick Herron, Xavier Herron, Noah Herron, and Reece Seal; great grandchildren, Brantley Crawford, Braylee Crawford, Avalynn Anderson, Claire Anderson, Mason Seal, Emma Seal, and Maci Seal; siblings, Louise Hester, and Beatrice “Beat” Lee; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded by her parents, Robert and Ella Lee; siblings, Guynell Bond, Andrew Lee, Anzol Lee, Ermanell Pullens, Doris Bond, Clifford “Shot” Lee, and Herman “Peewee” Lee. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Seal family during this difficult time and would ask that you remember them in your prayers in the days to come.
