Diana "Donna Sue" Deschamp

Diana Sue Deschamp, known to most as Donna Sue, age 65, passed away at her home in Pass Christian on May 18, 2020.  She was born to Ruben and Mary Ann (Ladner) Deschamp in Gulfport, MS  on February 2, 1955.  She is preceded in death by her parents; brother and best friend, Ruben “Blue” Deschamp, Jr.; sister, Kathleen Deschamp and brother-in-law, Gary McCafferty.  She is survived by her soul mate and sweetheart of 40 years, Jimmy Don “J.D.” McCafferty; children, Casey (Cortnie) Deschamp, Joseph “JoJo” (Amber) Deschamp, baby girl, Crystal (Josh) Deschamp and grandchildren she loved with all of her heart; sisters, Merith Ann Lewis, Andrea Gay (Jake) Winstead, Karen (Chubby) Pace; baby brother, Benford (Michelle) Deschamp and sister-in-law and rock, Brenda Richards.  Donna Sue had a great since of humor. She had a smile that could melt your heart and a laugh that was contagious. She enjoyed backyard parties and watching her grandchildren play outside.  When she wasn’t at home enjoying the company of her loving family, she was out hunting for a good bargain with her daughter, Crystal.  She liked to play Bingo and watch  Dedeaux Bizarre ballgames.  While Donna Sue was loved beyond words and will be greatly missed, her family finds comfort that she is no longer in pain. A graveside service will be held at Standard Dedeaux Cemetery on Thursday, May 21 at 3 pm.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Donna Sue and ask that you keep the Deschamp family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
