Dennis Wayne Parker, 63 of the Big Level community, lost his battle with cancer Thursday morning, August 11, 2022. He was born on November 29, 1958 in Biloxi, the second of four boys to Harold Lloyd and Lois Marie (Lamey) Parker. He grew up in D'iberville on the small family farm, and loved riding horses, motorcycles, and most other things a South MS boy would enjoy. He enjoyed playing with his brothers, and between the four of them, they kept his mother stepping most all the time. Dennis attended D'iberville schools until he figured he had enough education, and went to work. He painted quite for several years, and then went offshore for a while. He never married and always stuck pretty close to his parents. Dennis was a happy-go-lucky guy who never met a stranger. If you saw him, he probably had smile on his face that quickly transferred to yours. He was never one to venture far from home, and rarely if ever spent the night away from home. Dennis continued to enjoy riding horses and motorcycles, and going camping with his family. A loving son and trusted friend to many, he will be sadly missed by all whose life he touched. He was preceded by his father, Harold Parker; his oldest brother Allen, paternal grandparents Jessie S. and Lottie Bell Parker, and maternal grandparents Marion and Myrtle Lamey. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving mother, Lois Parker of Big Level; two brothers: Timmy (Melinda) Parker of Saucier, and Johnny Parker, also of Big Level, along with numerous extended family and friends. Dennis' final wishes were to be cremated and buried next to his father and brother in the Cedar Lake Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Parker name family in their time of need, and asks that you remember Ms. Lois and all of them in your thoughts and prayers through this trying time.
