David Bryan Johnson, 64 of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday Sept. 7th at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. He was born April 7, 1957 in Gulfport, the baby of seven boys to John Edward and Grace Lee (Conway) Johnson. David was preceded by his parents and his brother Ronald Johnson. He leaves his loving wife of almost thirty years, Roberta, with their two children, daughters Courtney (Mitch) Womack of Pascagoula and Agnes Baker of Gulfport, brother, Donald Johnson of Gulfport along with his two grandchildren. David loved being outside growing up, playing with his brothers and riding his bicycle. He never really got into hunting, fishing or athletics, rather he was more of an "old fashioned home boy". After his educational pursuits, he went to work and eventually went to work for Frank P. Corso as a delivery driver. David stayed there over twenty years, working his way up into management. He is remembered as a hard working, dedicated family man who was honest to a fault even. A loving and caring husband and father, he enjoyed watching Jeopardy and the N.O. Saints. He wasn't much on going out or anything, rather preferring dinner at home with his family and watching tv together. David will no doubt be forever missed by all who knew and loved him. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Johnson family in this trying time. Please keep Roberta and the entire family in your thoughts and prayers through this difficult time.
